Bookfest Movie-the 33
We had a great time joining all the the other bookfest students in our school district to watch the movie: the 33. This movie was based on the true story of the Chillean miners trapped underground for 3 months in 2010. This movie was suspenseful and heartwarming! The theatre applauded at the end!

We are going to see the movie "the 33" on Monday November 1st. Please make sure your permissions slips are in by Friday!
This movie is directly related to the book When the Worst Happens by Tanya Llyod Kyi, the author that will be speaking at Bookfest this year. Should be fun!

First week
I am excited to get working in the library! I am waiting on computer access and hoping to the get the classes up and running on Monday. The next couple of weeks will be learning and setting up a good system. As it stands, all day Mondays and Wednesday afternoons are my days in the library. Book exchange is on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will be run by the High School work program. Wendy will still be your contact person as usual for gathering materials and generally doing all the wonderful things she does in the Library!
